WATERLOO - Jennifer Jo Bell Franklin, 65, of Waterloo, died April 16 in Des Moines.

She was born Oct. 11, 1945, in Waterloo, daughter of Rudolph L. Sr. and Alcoza Flowers Bell. In 1964 she married Freddie D. Franklin and they later divorced.

Ms. Franklin graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1963. She had worked for Rath's Packing Co. and eventually retired from her housekeeping service of "Housekeeping by Jennifer" in Denver, Colo. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Waterloo.

Survived by a son, Frederick T. Franklin I (Debra) of Milwaukee; two daughters, Portlynn N. Franklin and Kelli Franklin Carter (Harry), both of Des Moines; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gregory E. and Russell W. Bell.

Preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Rudolph "Bonky" Jr., Ralph and Rex Bell.

Private farewell ceremony Memorial Day weekend in Waterloo.
