WATERLOO - Narvel A. "Nan" Partee, 64, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, April 6, at home of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 7, 1946, in Waterloo, daughter of James C. Montgomery and Narvel Weems. She married George Evans in 1969 in Waterloo. They later divorced.

She was retired from the John Deere Tractor Works after 33 years of service.

Survived by two daughters, Rhonda K. Anderson and Sheila Peppers, both of Waterloo; a godson, Luther Holmes Jr. of Omaha, Neb.; four sisters, Mary Montgomery, Lorraine (Otis) Gaston, Bonnie (Ira) Frizell and Eva Culp, all of Waterloo; five brothers, Willie (Norma), James Jr. (Charlene), Curtis, Alfred and Glen, all of Waterloo; and a grandson, Eric Peppers Jr.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Montgomery and Ennis Montgomery.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church, and for an hour before services Monday at the church. Sanders Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the family at 1906 E. Fourth St. where they will be receiving friends.
