WATERLOO - James Myron Philp, 65, of Waterloo, died at home Sunday, April 3, of natural causes.

He was born Aug. 4, 1945, in Waterloo, son of Don and Ailene Allen Philp. He married Donna M. Hoppes on June 26, 1964, at Linden Methodist Church, Waterloo.

Mr. Philp retired from John Deere as a gauge inspector in 2009.

Survived by his wife; a son, Jamie Joe (Shirley) of Waco, Texas; a daughter, Shannon Lee (Eric) Schuler of Raymond; and five grandchildren, Cody and Shelby McKenzie, Dana and Shane Philp, and London Schuler.

Celebration of life: 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at 250 S. Seventh St., Raymond.
