Marilyn M. Gerry, age 89, of Zellwood, Fla., passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011.

Born Aug. 22, 1921, in Waterloo. She was an executive secretary and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary as well as the Apopka Garden Club.

Mrs. Gerry was preceded in death by son, Harold C. Gerry.

She is survived by her loving husband, Harold C. Gerry of Zellwood; sons, Tom (Diane) Gerry of Longwood, Fla., and Michael Gerry of Apopka; a daughter-in-law, Linda Gerry of Canton, Ga.; a sister, Shirley Colina of West Palm Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 8, at 1:30 p.m at Loomis Family Funeral Home Chapel, 420 W. Main St., Apopka, FL 32712; (407) 880-1007.
