Constance J. Dreesman

Constance was born August 8, 1940, in Parkersburg, Iowa, the daughter of John Cornelius and Dena Ella (DeGroot) Jungling. She died Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

She graduated from Dike High School in 1958 and Marshalltown Evangelical Hospital School of Nursing in 1961.

On June 21, 1963, she was united in marriage to Ronald M. Dreesman at Pleasant Valley Reformed Church in Parkersburg. She was a Registered Nurse at Schoitz Memorial Hospital and then Covenant Medical Center from 1963 until her retirement in 2002. She sang as a soloist in her early days for weddings and other services at Pleasant Valley Reformed Church. She took pleasure in craft projects and enjoyed her family and grandchildren activities.

Constance is survived by her husband, Ron of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Anne M. (Matthew) Manifold of Solon, IA and Hope J. (Eric) Conard of Costa Mesa, CA; grandchildren, Jarrett D. and Madison E. Manifold, both of Solon, IA and three sisters, Alice (Curt) Hansen of Dike, IA, Hope (Howard) Aldrich of Waterloo and Camille Jungling of Davenport.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Marina Jungling and brother John in infancy.
