CEDAR FALLS - Catherine M. "Kay" Ward, 86, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, March 16, at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center, Cedar Falls.

She was born Sept. 15, 1924, in Wakefield, Mass., daughter of Thomas and Florence Doucett Sullivan. She married Donald Louis Ward June 5, 1943, in Wakefield.

She was a supervisor at Santa Claus Industries in Waterloo from 1959-70, and worked in housekeeping at the University of Northern Iowa from 1971-73.

Survived by her husband; a son, Donald L. (Pam) Jr. of Florida; a daughter, Patricia (Richard Sr.) Olsson of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by three brothers, "Dinty" Sullivan, Warren "Sully" Sullivan and Robert "Bobby" Sullivan; and a sister, Doris Orkney.

Services 10:30 a.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Home, with burial in Hillside Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
