Cleo F. Hogan, age 67, of rural New Albin, Iowa died Friday, August 3, 1990 at Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 8 at 1 p.m. in the Oppold-Hagarty Funeral Home in Waterloo, Iowa. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Cleo was born January 25, 1923 in Raymond, Iowa to Ray and Julia (Harrington) Hogan. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Navy. On September 7, 1946 he married Audrey Ramker in Rock Island, Illinois. For 33 years he was employed with Deere and Company of Waterloo, Iowa, retiring in 1980.

Cleo was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Patricia Russell, and 2 brothers Paul Hogan and Gerald Hogan.

Survivors include his wife, Julia; a son Michael Hogan of Ely, Nevada; 2 sisters, Rita Donovin of Cedar Falls, Iowa and LaVonne Nelson of Fresno, California; 3 brothers, Byron Hogan of Mount Clair, California, Robert Hogan of Pensacola, Florida, and Eugene Hogan of Waterloo, Iowa, and a half-sister, Gladys Hogan of Dinuba, California.
