CEDAR FALLS - Berdean R. Graham, 88, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Feb. 19, at ManorCare Health Center, Waterloo.

She was born June 5, 1922, in Holland, daughter of Dick and Minnie Johnson Brower. She married William Henry “Hank” Graham on Feb. 11, 1945, in Holland. He died Aug. 20, 2006.

Mrs. Graham received her bachelor's degree from Drake University, Des Moines, and went on to be a primary teacher for 32 years, retiring in 1980.

Survived by a daughter, Jane (Dan) Miller of Hudson; three grandchildren, Jamie and Chelsea Miller, and Troy (Lynn) Wade; and two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Devon Wade.

Preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Janice Wade; three brothers, Carl, Edwin and Calvin Brower; and two sisters, Esther Aswegan and Alice Reisinger.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, with inurnment in Fairview Cemetery. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
