CEDAR FALLS - Darlene E. Stocks, 76, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Feb. 18, at home.

She was born Nov. 25, 1934, in Chester, daughter of William and Nellie Armstrong Cummings. She married Graydon Lyle Stocks on Feb. 11, 1958, in Waterloo. He died March 11, 1993.

Mrs. Stocks was a clerk at Rath Packing Co. and Carnation Co. and a substitute mail carrier with Cedar Falls Post Office. She worked at Waterloo Industries and retired as an inspector at Chamberlain Manufacturing. She was an inspector with Intec and owned and operated the Evergreen Lounge in Janesville at one time.

Survived by two daughters, Diane (Joe) Kofron of Janesville and Brenda Bloker of Cedar Falls; three sons, Douglas (Colette) of Cedar Rapids, Graydon “Chip” (Renee) of Cedar Falls and Tim (Lisa) of Waverly; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several close nieces and nephews, including Cindy, Sandy, Gary and Bill.

Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home, with a 4 p.m. rosary and 7 p.m. vigil service.

Memorial fund has been established.

Darlene volunteered many years with Birthright and loved playing 500.
