WATERLOO — Lucy E. Chase, 92, of Waterloo, died Monday, Jan. 31, at Allen Hospital.

She was born July 31, 1918, in Cazenovia, Wis., daughter of Joseph and Helen Rego Connors. She married Lester P. Chase on Oct. 20, 1945, in Chicago. He died June 8, 1999.

Survived by: two sons, Richard (Betsy) of Gallatin, Tenn., and William (Sherry) of Marine, Ill.; a daughter, Rita (Clifford) Cyrzan of Waterloo; and five grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: two sisters, Marge Washburn and Helen Drea; and three brothers John Connors, Joseph Connors and Leo Berberich.

Family-directed memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church, Waterloo, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Reedsburg, Wis. Visitation for an hour before services Saturday at the church. Locke Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Memorials: may be directed to Blessed Maria Assunta Pallotta Catholic School Fund or Black Hawk County 4-H.
