Katherine Anderson, 94, of Davenport, Iowa died Monday, March 10, 2003 at the Kahl Home for the Aged & Infirm, Davenport, Iowa.

Celebration of Life services will be at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 15, 2003 at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport, Iowa. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 P.M. Saturday, just prior to the service at Weerts Funeral Home.
Burial will be Monday at Elmwood Cemetery in Waterloo, Iowa.
Memorial gifts may be made to Edwards Congregational United Church of Christ, Davenport, Iowa or a favorite charity.

Katherine was born December 4, 1908 in La Porte City, Iowa to William and Elizabeth (Kempf) Watts. She married A. Lane Anderson on July 2, 1927 in Vinton, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1970.

Katherine was a homemaker. She especially enjoyed being with her family, playing bridge and gardening. She also enjoyed the Chicago Cubs.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Carolyn Anderson, Bettendorf, IA; four grandchildren, Lori (James) Stanziola, Overland Park, KS, James (Laura) Anderson, Leawood, KS, Mark Anderson, Ft. Collins, CO, David (Linda) Weldon, Conroe, TX; nine great grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Arend, Waterloo, IA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Elaine Weldon and a sister, Blanche Burnham.
