ESTHER BANDFIELD

Esther was born August 5, 1933 the daughter of Carl and Agnes (Anderson) Christensen in Black Hawk County, Iowa.

She married Lloyd E. Bandfield October 31, 1951 in Waterloo, Iowa. Lloyd died March 23, 1001. Esther died Friday, December 13, 2002 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo, Iowa at the age of 69.

Esther is survived by three sons, John (Vicki) Bandfield, Bill (Cindy) Bandfield both of Dinsdale, Iowa and Tracy (Belinda) Bandfield of Moberly, Missouri; three daughters, Marcia (Gene) Meyer of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Lisa Bandfield and Melisa Wood both of Dinsdale, Iowa; one brother, John Christensen of Cedar Falls; three sisters, Annette Minikus, Rosemary Christensen and Vera (Jim) Dow all of Cedar Falls, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Ricky Brandfield, one granddaughter, Carrie Bandfield and one brother, Carl Christensen.

Funeral services were 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, Iowa with Reverend Mark Pell of Cedar Valley Hospice officiating.

Interment was at Cedar Valley Memorial Garden, Cedar Falls, Iowa.
