MISS ESTHER KRENSKY.

Miss Esther Krensky, 40, of 1325 West Fourth street, died at Presbyterian Hospital at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, following a brief illness.

Miss Krensky was taken ill Tuesday night, and died a few hours after being removed from her home to the hospital. Death was attributed, to a cerebral hemorrhage.

She was born in New York, N. Y., August 15, 1906, the daughter of Harry and Julia [Rabinowitz] Krensky. She accompanied her parents to Waterloo in 1910 and had since made her home here.

She graduated from West Waterloo High School in 1924 and was awarded a degree at Iowa State Teacher's College. From 1933 until 1942 she was employed in the Black Hawk County recorder's office at the court house. At the time of her death she was office cashier at the Westside Iowa Liquor Store.

Miss Krensky was a member of the Congregation Sons of Jacob and Waterloo chapter 128 of the Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Julia Krensky, 1325 West Fourth Street; four sisters, Mrs. Jannette Kushner, Anne and Josephine, all of 1325 West Fourth Street, and Mrs. Mildred Abrams, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and a brother, Isadore, 1325 West Fourth Street.

Her father died in Waterloo April 17, 1934.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the residence, 1325 West Fourth Street, by Rabbi Sholom H. Epstein of the Congregation Sons of Jacob. Burial will be in the Jewish Cemetery. The body was to be taken to the residence from Kistner Funeral Home late Wednesday afternoon.
