FOR H. KRENSKY
GROCER 25 YEARS

Waterloo Merchant, 53, Dies
at Iowa City Hospital of
Coronary Occlusion.

Funeral services for Harry Krensky, 53, 1325 Fourth street west, merchant In Waterloo for 25 years, who died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at University Hospital, Iowa City, were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home. Rabbi Louis Kaufman, pastor of the Sons of Jacob congregation, officiating. Burial was in the Jewish cemetery.

Mr. Krensky's death was caused by a coronary occlusion, the result of, arteriosclerotic heart disease. He had been in ill health for the last eight months, and was taken to the hospital at Iowa City Feb. 21.

He was born April 25, 1880, at Ostrina, Russia, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Krensky. When he was a boy of 13 he came to America, locating in New York. Later Mr. Krensky returned to Russia and brought his parents back to America with him

On September 13, 1903, he married Miss Julia Rabinowitz, at New York, and the couple came to Waterloo in 1908. Mr. Krensky was in the retail grocery business here for many years and also sold store fixtures and home furnishings. The grocery store is at 1500 Commercial Street and the store fixtures establishment is at 607 Jefferson Street.

He was a member of Waterloo lodge, No. 105, A. F. & A. M.; Low Twelve Club; Helmet Lodge, No. 89, Knights of Pythias; Omar Temple, D. O. K. K.; Sons of Jacob congregation, B'Nal B'Rith, and the Waterloo Chamber of Commerce.

Surviving besides his widow are one son, Isadore, at home; five daughters, Mrs. David Kushner, 816 Kingsley Avenue; and Esther, Mildred, Anne and Josephine, at home; his father, Nathan Krensky and two brothers, Carl Krensky and Philip Krensky, Boston, Mass., five sisters, Mrs. Oscar Savittz and Miss Ida Krensky, Boston; Mrs. M. Stein and Mrs. M. Goldsmith, New York, and Mrs. S. L. Wiernikoff, Middletown, Conn.
