WATERLOO - Ann Hays, 93, of Glen Ellyn, Ill., formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, Dec. 12, at home.

She was born Nov. 26, 1917, in Wesley, daughter of John and Laura Ferstl Richter. She married Jack C. Hays July 5, 1952, in Wesley. He died June 19, 2003.

She was a homemaker.

Survived by: four daughters, Julie (Brian) Devane of Wheaton, Ill., Emily (Gary) Kerley of San Antonio, Texas, Nancy (Mark) Musmanno of Allison Park, Pa., and Sarah (Steve) Novak of Waterloo; and 13 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: four brothers, Jack, Urban, Edward, and Frank Richter; and four sisters, Marie Garry, Theresa Otis, Heddie Dusold, and Ruth Baron.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with a 4 p.m. Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary and 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Monday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the church or the Cedar Valley Catholic School Capital Campaign.
