CEDAR FALLS - Paul David Hillen, 56, of Oklahoma City, Okla., formerly of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Dec. 2, at his home.

He was born March 6, 1954, in Waterloo, son of John and Kathryn Hinkson Hillen.

He graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1972. He earned an associate's degree in music ministry from Bartlesville Wesleyan College in 1978. Mr. Hillen was in several musical productions and played guitar in a jazz band. He wrote and arranged music for Espirit Co. in Oklahoma City and was involved with music ministry at his church.

Survived by: two sisters, Linda Shirbroun of Glendora, Calif., and Karolyn Sorge of Denver; and a brother, John Hillen of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by: his parents and an infant sister.

Memorial service: was at Trinity Bible Church, with inurnment in Garden of Memories, both in Cedar Falls.
