CEDAR FALLS — Dale Leslie Duff, 53, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Dec. 2, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

He was born July 5, 1957, in Waterloo, son of George L. and Lucy Ann Gardner Duff. He married Paula Frahm in 1976, and they later divorced. He married Nonie Kattelman on July 1, 1989, at St. John Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls.

Mr. Duff was employed as an independent contract carrier for The Courier and as a contract carrier for Advanced Systems. He also was employed as a cashier and stock person for the University Avenue Hy-Vee in Waterloo.

Survived by: his wife; two sons, Timothy (Valerie) and Adam, both of Augusta, Kan.; two daughters, Allison Duff and Makayla Taylor, both of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren, Shelby, Braedon and Halie Duff; and three sisters, Sarah (Bruce) Reinhart of Las Vegas, Linda (Richard) Pint of Waterloo and Kathy (Richard) Schultz of Jasper, Ga.

Preceded in death by: his parents; and an infant sister, Betty Ann Duff.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
