WATERLOO - Lillian A. Heiberger, 90, of Ridgeway Place, died Monday, Nov. 22, at Allen Hospital.

She was born Sept. 1, 1920, in Waterloo, daughter of Edward and Pearl Gardner Smith. She married Howard Heiberger on July 20, 1946, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua

Mrs. Heiberger graduated from Ionia High School in 1938. She worked at Hinson Manufacturing as a seamstress during World War II, then worked at Cooks Department Store from 1967 to 1969 and later was a homemaker in her own home. She was a charter member at Grace Reformed Church, where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and was active with youth groups and the Women of Grace. She volunteered at Castle Hill School where her children attended.

Survived by: her husband; a son, Randall (Valerie) of Waterloo; a daughter, Maureen (Brent) Hastings of Cedar Falls; two grandsons, Calvin Hastings of Waterloo and Wade (Ola) Hastings of Chicago; and a brother, Donald Smith of LaMirada, Calif.

Preceded in death by: her parents; twin daughters, Sharon Kay and Shirley May; and a sister, Violet Zuck.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grace Reformed Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home.
