WATERLOO - Constance J. "Connie" Peterson, 58, of Waterloo, died Monday, Nov. 22, at Allen Hospital from complications of diabetes.

She was born Jan. 22, 1952, in Waterloo, daughter of Russell and Amy Saucer Peterson. She graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1970 and was employed with John Deere for five years.

Survived by: her father and stepmother, Russell and Mildred Lenz Peterson; five brothers, Ray (Shelley) of Lansing, Steven (Margaret) of Odessa, Texas, Richard (Deb) of Evansdale, David (Lori) of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Dennis (Gretchen) of Waterloo; five sisters, Becky (Mike) Chambers of Jacksonville, Fla., Patty (Rex) Eyestone and Annette VanDerHart, both of Waterloo, Carmel (Tim) Spencer of Pella and Kim (Alan) Spencer of Clarion; two aunts, Lula (Donald) Hanson and Miriam Feldpouch, both of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: her mother; and grandparents, Carl and Amanda Peterson.

Family-conducted services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lighthouse Fellowship Free Methodist Church, 1737 Cornwall Ave., with a dinner and gathering following the service. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway assisted the family.

Memorials: may be directed to the church.

Connie's family was her greatest treasure.
