WATERLOO - Barbara J. Baumeier, 83, of Stoughton, Wis., formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Nov. 19, at Skaalen Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Stoughton.

She was born Oct. 10, 1927, in Madison County, daughter of Tillman and Lillian DeBord. She married Leon Baumeier April 10, 1946, in Waterloo. He died Feb. 7, 2009.

She worked for Professional Management of Waterloo for 25 years and for James Barron, CPA.

Survived by: two daughters, Becky (Phil) Daugherty of Stoughton and Vicki (Gary) Drown of Holt, Mich.; three grandchildren, Gary (Kim) Schwab of Battle Creek, Mich., Debbie (Sean) Dugan of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Darrell Drown of Lansing, Mich.; a great-grandson, Griffin; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: four brothers; and four sisters.

Services: will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in the spring in Waterloo.

Memorials: in lieu of flowers, may be directed to Skaalen Home of Stoughton, Wis., or HospiceCare Inc. of Janesville, Wis.

The family wishes to thank the employees and residents at Skaalen Home for making her last year so enjoyable, and the people at HospiceCare for making her final days peaceful. Barbara enjoyed golfing and wintering in Texas with her husband after they both retired.
