WATERLOO - Robert "Bob" Milton Gray, 79, of Windhaven Assisted Living, Cedar Falls, died at his home Thursday, Nov. 11.

He was born Oct. 16, 1931, in Waterloo, son of Charles and Alice Bunce Gray. He married Marian Parrott on Oct. 19, 1952, in Nashua.

Mr. Gray graduated from Jesup High School, Jesup, then joined the U.S. Marines and served in Korea. He worked at Chamberlain Manufacturing Co. as an Inspector in Research and Development for 28 years until his retirement.

Survived by: his wife; two sons, Steven (Linnea) Gray of Deer Creek, Minn., and Jeffrey Gray of Evansdale; a daughter, Susan (James) Walker of Evansdale; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marie (Fred) Fuller of Reynolds, Ill., Bernice Gray of Milan, Ill., and Donna Rohrssen of Manchester; and a sister-in-law, Florence Parrott of Manchester.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Becker-Chapman American Legion Post 138 and Waterloo VFW.Post 1623. There will be no visitation.

Memorials: may be directed to the family or Cedar Valley Hospice, in lieu of flowers.
