WATERLOO — Polaire Adelle "Polly" Noble Gray, 76, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Nov. 7, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born March 5, 1934, in Sheffield, daughter of Herman and Virginia Warner Noble. She married Gene E. Gray on Nov. 27, 1952, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He died Feb. 12, 2004.

She graduated from Sheffield High School in 1951. She worked at Flower City Box Factory, Blacks Sky Room, Santa Clause Industries and Howe Engineering.

Survived by: four sons, Terry (Nancy) of Waterloo, Bill of Dunkerton, Tim of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Jerry of Waterloo; a daughter, Carolyn (Mark) Timm of Evansdale; 13 grandchildren, Tammy, Shelly, T.J., Chris, Travis, Ben, Bradley, Michael, Remmington, Mark Jr., Willie, Corey and Dillon; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-grandchild on the way; and a sister-in-law, Janice Trent of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: an infant brother, Keith Noble.

Private memorial services: at a later date. She was cremated; inurnment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. A private family ceremony will be held at a later date. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories is assisting the family.

Polaire's family wishes to express gratitude to Dr. Rose and to the nurses and support staff on Covenant 2nd floor and the ICU for their heartfelt care of our mother and grandmother.
