WATERLOO - Wayne W. Saveraid, 66, of Denton, Texas, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, Nov. 1, at Denton Regional Hospital of natural causes.

He was born March 14, 1944, in Waterloo, son of Walter P. and Juanita P. Penry Saveraid.

He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1962. He worked at John Deere and Rock Island Mill Works. He was an over-the-road truck driver in the U.S. and Canada. Mr. Saveraid joined the U.S. Air Force in 1964.

Survived by: two brothers, Palmer (friend Sharon) of Tampa, Fla., and LeRoy (Donna) of Lorimor; two sisters, Norma (Manley) Orum of Waterloo and Juanita (Roger) Kottman of Harvard, Ill.; and 15 nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: a nephew.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Locke Funeral Home, with inurnment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
