WATERLOO — Randy Allen Scott, 48, of Dubuque, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Oct. 22, as a result of a car accident in Dubuque.

He was born Feb. 13, 1962, in Independence, son of John V. "Jack" and Lenore Lawless Scott.

He was self-employed in construction in the Dubuque area.

Survived by: two sons, Adam and Derick Jackson, both of Dubuque; his mother and stepfather, Lenore and Neil Snell of Cedar Falls; two brothers, Kevin (Jan) and Michael (Lori), both of Waterloo; a sister, Kenda Thompson of Jesup; three stepbrothers, Michael N., Wayne (Connie) and Terry Snell, all of Waterloo; and a stepsister, Vicki (Dan) Parson of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: his father; his grandparents; and a stepbrother, Daniel Snell.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and for an hour before services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
