CEDAR FALLS - Frances Marie Frame, 89, of Windsor Nursing & Rehab Center, formerly of Council Bluffs, died at the center Friday, Oct. 8.

She was born May 22, 1921, in Malvern, daughter of George and Edith McFall Van Horne. She married William Walden Frame on Jan. 28, 1949, in Omaha, Neb. He died in August 1981.

Mrs. Frame graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School, Council Bluffs, in 1939. While living in Council Bluffs she worked 11years at Mutual of Omaha as a supervisor with the Flying Squadron; six years at the Council Bluffs Public Library as a circulation clerk and 16 years at the Council Bluffs Visiting Nurses. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church.

Survived by: a daughter, Sally (Rev. David) Vander Leest of Stout; a son, Bill (Gayle) of Calliope, Queensland, Australia; a stepdaughter-in-law, Judy Frame of Smithville, Mo.; a stepson, John (Dee) Frame of Camdenton, Mo.; grandson, Dr. Steven (Dr. Tarra) Vander Leest of Sheldon; two great-granddaughters, Aliza Christine and Isabelle Anne Vander Leest, both of Sheldon; four stepgrandchildren; and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and Roy Rasmussen; a brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Betty Van Horne; and a stepson, Richard W. Frame.

Informal memorial services: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Windsor Nursing Home, Cedar Falls, for residents and staff of Windsor and for the friends of Pastor Dave and Sally VanderLeest. Additional services 11 a.m. Oct.19 in Council Bluffs, with burial in East Liberty Cemetery, near Malvern. Arrangements are being handled by Cutler-O'Neill Funeral Home, Council Bluffs.
