WATERLOO - Rose Marie "ReRe" Johnson, 49, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Oct. 7, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born Nov. 28, 1960, in Iowa City, daughter of Herlie Sr. and Essie Mae Johnson.

Ms. Johnson enjoyed working as a housekeeper at the Super 8 Motel for 14 years.

Survived by: two daughters, Latisha (Kameron) Leyh and Trista Hill, both of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Shanti Leyh and Anaiah Parham; her father and her mother, both of Waterloo; five brothers, Andrea (Pat) Johnson of Houston, and Derrick (Marilyn) Wortham, Dion Johnson, Vincent Porter Sr. and Steven Johnson, all of Waterloo; two sisters, Sherry Johnson and Regina Johnson, both of Waterloo; and a host of friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by: maternal grandparents; paternal grandparents; four brothers, LeRoy, Herlie Jr., David Lee and Eddie Lee Johnson; a sister, Stephanie Johnson; a cousin, James "BoJack" Perkins; and one niece in infancy, Brooklyn Johnson.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the family at 1742 Lark Lane, where they will be receiving friends.
