ACKLEY - Cyrilla Priscilla Roberts, 84, of Ackley, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, at Presbyterian Village Home in Ackley of natural causes.

She was born Dec. 1, 1925, in New Hampton, daughter of Albert and Rose Thurman Reicherts. She married Raymond D. Roberts Sept. 2, 1946, in San Francisco. He died April 12, 1982.

The couple settled in Evansdale, then in Waterloo, where they raised six children. Mrs. Roberts worked at Rath Packing Co. before she was married.

Survived by: three sons, Jerry (Carol) of Fayetteville, N.C., Terry (Milly) of Tripoli and James of Madison, Wis.; two daughters, Carol (Tim) Oeltjenbruns of Clayton, N.C., and Kelly (John) Wright of Ackley; four sisters; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a son, Wayne; a brother; and four sisters.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with inurnment in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a luncheon immediately following the service. Note: Change in location of service to Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball.

Her family members remember her enjoyment in reading, playing cards, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and later, bowling with friends at Maple Lanes in Waterloo. Cyrilla loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
