WATERLOO - Charles Wolf, 89, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 24, 1921, in Wisconsin, son of William Wolf and Edith Pugh. He married Patricia Orton. She died Nov. 18, 2006.

He attended school in Jump River, Wis. Mr. Wolf worked at a creamery in Wisconsin, farmed and built planes for World War II. He worked at John Deere's for 36 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Burton Ave. Baptist church.

Survived by: two daughters, Joni (Ron) Stevens of Waterloo and Laurie (John) Bond of Beaman; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, George Wolf; and a sister, Bertha Jiskra.

Preceded in death by: three sisters, Daisy, Martha and Rosie; and two brothers, Earl and Donald.

Prayer service: 6 p.m. today at Camelot Apartments, Waterloo, with burial in Nebo Cemetery Association. Overton Family Service is assisting the family.
