LARSON, PIERCE, MCBRIDE, KAUFMAN

WATERLOO — Larry Leroy Larson, 67, of Waterloo, died at home, Saturday, Oct. 2, after a long illness.

He was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Iowa City, son of and Arthur and Edna Pierce Larson.

Mr. Larson graduated from New Hampton High School in 1960, then served in the U.S. Army, including a year in Korea. He worked in many different areas, including being a cook at Roger's Famous Foods. He retired from John Deere in 1995 after 32 years of service.

Survived by: a brother, Earl (Bev) of Fredericksburg; and two sisters, Janie McBride of Clarksville and Beverly Kaufman of Hutchinson, Kan.

Preceded in death by: seven brothers and sisters.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Denver, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today and for an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home.
