WATERLOO - Wilma Pearl Hinton Sanders, 103, of Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center, died there Wednesday, Sept. 8, of natural causes.

She was born Dec. 21, 1906, in rural Warren County, daughter of Jesse F. and Nellie M. McCrobie Nuzum. She married Charles F. "Frank" Hinton Sr. in 1923 in Cedar Rapids and they later divorced. She married Wesley V. Sanders in 1946 in Moline, Ill. He died in 1982.

Mrs. Sanders graduated high school from St. Mary's and had been a secretary for the government during her working life. She was the author of two genealogy books and was a member of St. Timothy's United Methodist Church, Cedar Falls.

Survived by: a daughter-in-law, Mary Borwig of Waterloo; a stepdaughter, Jeannette (Bill) Below of San Antonio; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild .

Preceded in death by: a son, Charles Hinton Jr.; and two sisters.

Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kathryn Graham Pahl Memorial Chapel at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery, where visitation begins at 11 a.m. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, An Overton Family Service, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center.
