FRED L. FELL.

Funeral services for Fred L. Fell, 79, of 448 Loma St., for many years a general builder and contractor in Waterloo, who died Friday at 10:3O a.m. at Allen Memorial hospital of carcinoma, will be at 1:30 p,m. tomorrow at First Methodist church. Dr. Floyd Hinshaw, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Parrott & Wood funeral home until 11 a. m. Monday. The casket will not be opened at the church.

He was born March 15, 1890, in Mt. Auburn, the son of Gottlieb and Freda Lohman Fell. When he was about 10 years old the family moved to the vicinity of La Porte City, where he grew up.

Fell Mr. Fell was a general contractor and builder in Waterloo and was in partnership with Myron Anton in the building and contracting business for a number of years until he retired in 1955.

He married Agnes Peterson in Nashua on June 30, 1936, Mr. Fell was a member of the First Methodist church; Waterloo Lodge 105 AF & AM; El Kahir Shrine and also a member of the Commandery and Royal Arch Masons. He was also a member of Waterloo Chapter 128 Order of Eastern Star and Waterloo Lodge BPOE No. 290; and an honorary member of the Master Builders of Iowa.

Surviving are his widow; one son, Ronald of 2144 Castle St. of Waterloo; one daughter, Mrs. P. J. Melichar, Iowa City; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Mauser of 2303 W. 4th St.; Miss Christine Fell and Miss Leta Fell, both of 523 Home Park Blvd.; Mrs. G. F. Mauser, Osage; Mrs. Clyde Anton of La Porte City and six grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents one daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
