William “Bill” Edward Campbell, 48, of 429 Western Ave., died Sunday, June 24, at his home of natural causes. He was born March 15, 1953, in Grundy Center, son of James E. and LaNeil McDaniel Campbell. Mr. Campbell was employed in the receiving department at Allen Hospital for 25 years and for the last three years was caregiver for his father. Survived by: his father of Waterloo; his mother and stepfather, LaNeil and Ray Grimm of Hudson; a brother, Rodger of Des Moines; and maternal grandmother, Dovie Odorn of Glenmore, LA. Preceded in death by: maternal grandfather, Leon Odorn; and paternal grandparents, Merle and Owen Campbell. Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Kearns, Huiman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball.
