CEDAR FALLS - Sandra Sue Lines Genolous, 66, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, July 29, at Mercy Medical Center, The Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House, in Hiawatha of complications from multiple sclerosis.

She was born Aug. 2, 1943, in Waterloo, daughter of Kenneth and Verona Tiedt Lines. She married Sam Genolous Nov. 25, 1962, at First Lutheran Church in Waterloo.

She graduated from East Waterloo High School in 1962. She worked at Powers Manufacturing and Sid McKenna Color Lab. She had a fondness for the Waterloo Fourth Street Cruise having served on the initial planning committee.

Survived by: her husband; her children, Renee (Jeff) Smith of Robins and Todd (Jenette) Genolous of Waverly; seven grandchildren, Brittney, Ashley and Rylie Smith of Robins, Samuel and Amy Genolous, and Mary and Thor Crandall of Waverly; and three sisters, Patty Franke of Hudson, Sharon Jones of Johnston and Debbie (Ron) Carpenter of Enid, Okla.

Preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Donna Beyer; and a granddaughter, Sydney Smith.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories.

Memorials: may be directed to The Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House, 315 18th Ave., Hiawatha 52233 or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Sandra was a late blooming artist who enjoyed ceramics, painting and other artwork. She loved to garden. Sandra's world revolved around her husband, her children and her grandchildren.
