CEDAR FALLS - Wayne A. Koski, 66, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, July 26, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 16, 1944, in Negaunee, Mich., son of Andrew E. and Aili F. Saari Koski. He married Kathi Evans on Sept. 5, 1981, in Craig, Colo.

Mr. Koski served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Korea during the Vietnam era. He was employed as a surveyor with Claassen Engineering and Surveying, retiring in 2005. He was a member of the American Legion in Marysville, Kan., the Waterloo VFW and the Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49.

Survived by: his wife; his father of Michigan; a brother, Paul (Karen) of Republic, Mich.; a sister, Andrea (Stan) Smith of Kingsford, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Hannah Wixtrom of Ishpeming, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: his mother; and a brother, Ron.

Services: will be later in Republic. Richardson Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Memorials: may be directed to the charity of donor's choice.
