CEDAR FALLS - Loy Putt Conn, 77, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Bristow, died Sunday, July 25, at Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.

He was born Dec. 24, 1932, in Bristow, son of Cecil and Vera Putt Conn. He married Mary Jane Wagner on Jan. 14, 1961. They later divorced. He married Jennette Dodge.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He attended Iowa State University for two years and farmed in the Bristow area. He was an electrician and worked for NIACC, Mason City, until his retirement in 2003.

Survived by: a son, Bradley (Emily) of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Connie (Kenneth) Erpelding of Waterloo; a grandson, Cooper Conn; and a sister, Cleo (Lloyd) Tindall of Verona, Wis.

Preceded in death by: his parents.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Greene. Public visitation will be two hours before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
