CEDAR FALLS — Janet W. Johnson, 87, of Wykoff, Minn., formerly of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, July 11, at Ostrander Nursing Home, Ostrander, Minn.

She was born April 15, 1923, in Butler County, daughter of Charles and Elsie Walters. She married Claus Johnson on Nov. 17, 1940, in Missouri.

Mrs. Johnson was employed as a registered nurse with Allen Hospital, Waterloo, and at doctors’ offices in Waterloo.

Survived by: her husband; two sisters-in-law, Alice Johnson of Allison and Rosie Johnson of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: a daughter, Barbara J. Johnson; and two brothers.

Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Public visitation from 11:30 a.m. until services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials: may be directed to the family.

Janet was a kind, lovely person, and her home always was open to anyone.
