WATERLOO — Michael John Pilkey, 53, of Waterloo, died Sunday, June 13.

He was born Nov. 26, 1956, in Detroit, son of Harry Aznavorian and Barbara Pilkey. He married Becky Green; they later divorced. He married Melissa "Missy" Orton on July 27, 2007, in Waterloo.

He worked for Viking Pump as a machinist for 18 years and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Waterloo Worship Center.

Survived by: his wife; two daughters, Lisa M. (Zach) Bunston of La Porte City and Aleeya Pilkey of Waterloo; a son, John M. Pilkey of Houston; a grandson; his parents of Detroit; a sister, Lisa (Andy) Patalan of Detroit; a brother, Todd (Melanie) Aznavorian of Naperville, Ill.; and his grandmother, Margaret Braga of Detroit.

Preceded in death by: his grandfather, Edward Pilkey.

Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation 11 a.m. today until service time at Locke Funeral Home.
