RAYMOND — Everett F. Hale, 87, of Raymond, died Friday, June 11, at home of natural causes.

He was born Feb. 22, 1923, in Wayne, Neb., son of Eugene and Francis Hale.

Survived by: his wife, Delores Schake-Hale; two sons, Robert (Sue) of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Eugene of Wichita, Kan.; a daughter, Cathy (David) Roper of Wildwood, Mo.; a stepson, David (Cindy) Schake of Waterloo; two stepdaughters, Diane (Scott) Knode of Waterloo and Debra Ehlers of Clarion; two grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: his first wife, Mary; and two brothers, Willard and Melvin.

Private family services: will be held, with burial at a later date. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo, is assisting the family.
