WATERLOO - Dale Charles Pete Eilers, 64, of Panama City, Fla., formerly of Waterloo, died at his home Thursday, April 15.

He was born Nov. 11, 1945, in Fairbank, son of Rudolph Joseph and Anna Marie Beliveau Eilers. He married Christiana Filinisi on April 23, 1966, in Ismir, Turkey.

Mr. Eilers retired from the U.S. Air Force with 23 years of service. He has been in business in Panama City for the past 20 years, currently owning and operating HBO Storage and Eilers Trade.

Survived by: his wife; two sons, Lee (Wanda) of Atlanta, Ga., and Gary (Karen) of Rossville, Ga.; a daughter, Christine (Ryan ) Ransburg of Panama City; three grandchildren; a stepgrandson; a stepgreat-granddaughter; eight brothers, Irvin (Muriel), Dwayne (Karen) and Gary (Arlene), all of Waterloo, Rudy (Sandy) of Raymond, Orval (Kathy) of Solo, Mo., Ernie (Mary) of Portland, Ore., Douglas of Long Beach, Calif., and Percy (Pauline) of El Monte, Calif.; a brother-in-law, Lloyd Pettigrew of Riverside, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Marriane Forrester of Clifton, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: his parents; a brother, LeRoy; and two sisters, Marlys Pettigrew and Gladys Mae Eilers.

Memorial services: were April 24 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Panama City. Family memorial services will be held at a later date with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Raymond.
