WATERLOO - Virginia Mary Wade Olds, 73, of Waterloo, died Friday, April 30, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 8, 1936, in Waterloo, daughter of John and Ruth Heidt Wade. She married Marvin Olds on April 19, 1958, in Waterloo at St. John's Catholic Church.

Mrs. Olds graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1954. She was employed with Walker Shoe store for nine years and Northeastern Psychiatric Clinic as a bookkeeper, retiring in 1996.

Survived by: her husband; three daughters, Andrea (Randy), Libby (Harold) and Marcia (Ted); a son, James (Heidi); a brother, John (Patricia); a brother-in-law, Elwood; 10 grandchildren, Thomas, David, Alexis, John, James, Wade, Brian, Michael, Lauren and Jack; and two great-grandchildren, Colton and Logan.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Yvonne Steinbeck; and a brother, Thomas Wade.

Family Services: have been held. Locke Funeral Home assisted the family.

Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Bend Humane Society.
