WATERLOO — Mildred B. Meier, 77, of Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community, Waverly, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, April 20.

She was born Feb. 26, 1933, in Waterloo, daughter of John C. and Dorothy Weber Meier. She was employed as a receptionist with Medical Arts for 15 years, then with Osco Drug for 10 years, retiring in 1995.

Survived by: a sister, Rosemary Reicherts of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: two brothers, Irvin and Jim Meier; and a sister, Eileen Sandberg.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Edward's Catholic Church, with inurnment following cremation in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with a 7 p.m. Scripture service.

Memorials: may be directed to Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community or Cedar Valley Hospice.
