CEDAR FALLS - Virginia B. Roberts, 87, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, April 11, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, of natural causes.

She was born Nov. 21, 1922, in Benson, daughter of CP and Clara Nielsen Hansen. She married JR Roberts on Dec. 28, 1954, in Cedar Falls. He died May 23, 1990.

Mrs. Roberts graduated from Northern University High School in 1940 and was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church.

Survived by: a son, David (Chris) of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Sue Roberts of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren, Katie and James Roberts; a brother, Gordon (Connie) Hansen of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Marion Larsen of Boise, Idaho.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo.

Memorials: may be directed to the church.
