WATERLOO - Christine Marie Larsen, 58, of Wheat Ridge, Colo., formerly of Waterloo, died on Monday, March 22, at her home of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 3, 1951, in Waterloo, daughter of Stanley and Jewell Hitt Larsen. She graduated from West High School in 1969.

She worked as an optical assistant for various eye doctors, both in Iowa and Colorado.

Survived by: her mother of Waterloo; two sons, Terry Lee (Mary) Helmers of Wheat Ridge and Justin Lee Helmers of Arvada, Colo.; two grandchildren, Randi Helmers and Michael Colm, also of Wheat Ridge; two great-grandsons; two sisters, Debra Larsen and Kathy (David) Welsh, both of Waterloo; a sister-in-law, Cathy Naranjo of Bullhead City, Ariz.; numerous nieces and nephews; and her cat, Angel.

Preceded in death by: her father; and her husband, David Vigil.

Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Public visitation an hour before services Tuesday at the chapel.
