WATERLOO -- Elsie May Bush, 91, of 2329 W. Third St., died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center of heart failure.

She was born Sept. 4, 1908, in Keokuk, daughter of George and Grace Darby Estes. She married Charles V. Bush on July 22, 1944, in Kahoka, Mo. He died Sept. 14, 1972.

Survived by: a daughter, Jenna Lee Closson of Riverside, Calif.; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred Woodruff of Ottumwa.

Preceded in death by: a son, Delbert Wayne Reid; four brothers; and two sisters.

Services; 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery chapel, with burial in the cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at Locke Funeral Home, and for an hour before services at the cemetery chapel.
