CEDAR FALLS -- Angeline B. Winters, 80, of the Western Home, died Sunday, May 2, 1999, at Sartori Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

She was born April 3, 1919, in St. Lucas, daughter of Matthias and Philomena Bodenstiner Blong. She married Andrew Paul Winters on Aug. 3, 1937, in St. Lucas. He died Sept. 13, 1993.

Survived by: seven sons, Robert of Waterloo, Richard and Andrew L. Jr., both of Cedar Falls, Charles "Pat" of Watkins, Colo., James of Jesup, William of Littleton and David of Glenwood, Mo.; three daughters, Dorothy Ehlert of Randalia, Gloria Kibbee of Waterloo and Cynthia Heitman of Jesup; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Brother Matthew Wendlin of Milwaukee, Wis.; and two sisters, Anne Schmitt of New Hampton and Loretta Blong of St. Lucas.

Preceded in death by: five brothers; four sisters; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:30 to 8 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. Scripture service.

Memorials: may be directed to St. Patrick Church "Forward in Faith" fund or St. Patrick`s School.

Winters, Jr. of Cedar Falls, William Winters of Littleton, Iowa and David Winters of Glenwood, Missouri; her three daughters, Dorothy Ehlert of Randalia, Iowa, Gloria Kibbee of Waterloo and Cynthia Heitmann of Jesup; twenty grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; her brother, Brother Matthew Wendlin of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and her two sisters, Anne Schmitt of New Hampton, Iowa and Loretta Blong of St. Lucas.

Angeline was preceded in death by her husband and parents; three grandchildren and one great grandchild; and five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 6, 1999 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Memorials may directed to the St. Patrick Catholic Church "Forward In Faith" fund and St. Patrick School.
