WATERLOO - Sinclair C. Langsev, 93, of Waterloo, died Friday, March 12, at Manor Care Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was born Feb. 13, 1917, near Bricelyn, Faribault County, Minn., son of Samuel Chilcotte and Julia Langsev. He married Mamie Limberg on Nov. 28, 1947, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She died Jan. 4, 2007.

Mr. Langsev was educated in the Bricelyn, Minn., schools. He worked as a welder at Waterloo Industries for 31 years, retiring in 1979. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Waterloo.

Survived by: a daughter, Cindy Schares of Waterloo; a grandson, Christopher Tobar of Waterloo; a great-granddaughter, Kiya; and a sister, Helen Stendel of West Union.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Waterloo, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery with full military honors, by Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Evansdale AMVETS Post 31. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel and for an hour before services Monday at the church.
