WATERLOO — Maxine G. Olson, 91, of Waterloo, died Friday, March 5, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born June 12, 1918, in Devon, daughter of Julius and Mary Moorehead Boos. On July 2, 1936, she married Richard Olson at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Olson graduated from New Hampton High School and had worked as a meat cutter at Rath Packing Co. for 35 years. She was a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Survived by: two daughters, Shirley (Don) Duke and Marian (Paul) Quandt, both of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beverly Pickar of Dysart.

Preceded in death by: two daughters, Roberta Lee Olson and Norma Jean Olson; a son, Donald; and a grandson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service.
