WATERLOO - Anna Marie Etringer Baumann Kehe, 89, died Feb. 19 at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, after a short illness.

She was born July 9, 1920, in Raymond, daughter of John and Elizabeth Schmitz Etringer. She married James G. Baumann Sr. on Aug. 18, 1942, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Waterloo, and they later divorced. She later married LaVern W. Kehe on Oct. 10, 1980. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Kehe graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School in 1938. She was past president of the City Improvement Association, Charles City.

Survived by: three sons, James (Patricia) Baumann Jr. of Charles City, Thomas (Johannette) Baumann of Cedar Rapids and Robert (Sheryl) Baumann of Marion; a daughter, Kathy Baumann of Reno, Nev.; two grandchildren, Caroline Baumann of Juneau, Alaska, and David (Breann) Baumann of Pinedale, Wyo.; a great-granddaughter, Alexis of Pinedale, Wyo.; two sisters, Marge Fosselman of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Jean (Tom) Cain of Hastings, Minn.; two stepsons, Butch (Joyce) Kehe of Waverly and David Kehe of California; two stepgranddaughers, Ann and Kirsten; and three great-stepgrandchildren, Tierra, Jarod and Chris.

Preceded in death by: two brothers, Reynold and James Etringer.

Mass of special intention: 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, at St. Edward's Catholic Church. Hagarty, Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements. Inurnment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery on Feb. 22.

Memorials: may be directed to charity of donor's choice in her name or Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community, 1922 5th Ave., NW, Waverly, in lieu of flowers.

Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, cook and loved to have friends and family around her and going to and having parties.
