WATERLOO - Margaret Clairis Vikdal Natvig, 85, died Thursday, March 4, at Lakeview Landing.

She was born May 8, 1924, in Saude, daughter of Carl G. and Anna G. Vikdal. She married Davis W. Natvig on Aug. 11, 1946, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Saude. He died Nov. 27, 2001.

Mrs. Natvig graduated from New Hampton High School in 1942, then taught country school for a year at the Utica 4 School, Chickasaw County. After moving to Waterloo she was employed as a secretary at Rath Packing Co. Later, she worked for the Waterloo School Administration for 23 years, until her retirement. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and had been a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church Ladies' Guild, PEO Chapter LO, and Sons of Norway.

Survived by: three sons, Scott (Nancy) of Muscatine, Steven (Jackie Kline) of Sprit Lake and Stuart (Cindy Worden) of Waterloo; five granddaughters, Erin (Matt) Weyenberg of Lighthouse Point, Fla., Ashley Natvig of Chicago, Kristen (Dave) Brunelle of Colorado Springs, Colo., Haley Natvig of Cedar Falls and Nicole Natvig of Denver, Colo.; a great-granddaughter, Eleanor Weyenberg; a brother, Charles (Joan) Vikdal of New Hampton; and a sister, Bernita Webster of Springfield, Mo.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waterloo, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service,
