WATERLOO - Quinton R. Lane, 80, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Feb. 1, at Sartori Memorial Hospital, Cedar Falls.

He was born March 31, 1929, in Moffitt, N.D., son of Arthur H. and Cora Miller Lane. He married Eleanor J. Molhoek in Waterloo. She died in 1983. He married Phyllis Heath on March 14, 1986, in Ocala, Fla.

Mr. Lane graduated from Waterloo West High School and attended barber college in Des Moines. He owned and operated, with William Farley, the Mercury Barber Shop, Waterloo, for 20 years. He also was part owner of Skate Country Corp.; sold real estate in Waterloo and in Ocala; and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Survived by: his wife; two sons, Joel (Amy) of Ocala and Justin of Waterloo; two daughters, Jolynn (Gregg) Read of Summerfield, Fla., and Linda (Scott) Richards of Palm Coast, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Roxanne (Michael) Garner of Radcliff; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Kay Lane of Sebring, Fla.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Herman; and a sister, Theo Dickinson.

Memorial Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
